Danya Berman

everyone has a story!

Danya Berman is an LA born and bred casting director specializing in unscripted, host and commercial casting. She got her start in television as an associate producer for Biography on A&E and moved over to casting in 2002,  while working on a Discovery Channel series; after a network exec said “You really have a knack for talking to strangers!”; something she still loves to do. Over the past 18 years, she’s worked in every reality genre; from motorcycle builds (Monster Garage) to cooking competitions (Guy’s Grocery Games) to plastic surgery gone wrong (Botched). Danya has a warm, yet direct approach for coaching  people who’ve never been on camera, and lives by the motto “Everyone has a story-let’s tell it together”.
